Jordan Love Injury Update: A week that saw the Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers hobbling off the stadium after sustaining a lower leg injury.
The Philadelphia Eagles Teams defeated the Green Bay Packers 34 – 29 with the Packers ‘starting quarterback Jordan Love getting a lower leg injury in the game with only six seconds remaining. In the match that was played in São Paulo, Brazil, Love sustained a foul as he tried to make a pass when the two Eagles defenders pressured him. Love also stayed on the field after receiving the hit that caused him to fall and, albeit remaining on the ground for a few minutes, he was able to stand on his feet, although, he was visibly in a lot of pain until the team doctors attended to him. He was then helped to the bench and did not feature in the last playmaking.
Second-string quarterback Malik Willis, signed to the Packers’ practice squad in late August began the game in place of Love, completing two passing plays. Willis did some plays including an incomplete pass and a sack which marked the end of the game.
Jordan Love’s performance before the injury was quite impressive when he scored 17/34, 260 yards with touchdown passes two and an interception. There was no brief information on the kind of issue Love had on the field, but Packers head coach, Matt LaFleur mentioned that he wasn’t sure of the extent of the issue.
Wide receiver Christian Watson stated that he believes Love will recover from the injury, stated: ‘Whatever it is, I know he’s going to get through it, We’re going to get through it.
